Connect the controller the driver will start installing leave it like that installing, open the Ds3 tool file it wont say that the controller is connected like mine, then click driver manager it should look like photo 2, then checkmark the square then click load driver it should start installing a different driver let it finish. When its done installing click "profiles" it should go back to the menu when it opens it. It sould say in the connected gane controllers "1.

I got my computer to recognize the controller, but it would not respond to any of the buttons. This is the method that worked for me on my Windows Vista system.
I followed the simple instructions and was able to use the controller to play a game. This only works on bit operating systems, which is what most people currently have. Click on Properties and you should be able to test it by hitting the buttons or moving the thumb sticks around. These drivers were not designed to work with Windows 7. In order to use the controller with Windows 7, you will need to download a separate program and go through a different install process.
