Activate my globe roaming sim card

I am now out of the country with the family for Christmas and New Year for a change since we always celebrate these holiday seasons in the Philippines for decades.

Prior to leaving the country, I experienced a problem with how to activate roaming with my smart mobile phone. I am a smart prepaid SIM user, but for sure even globe prepaid subscribers experience the same thing. I wrote this post to discuss the usual problem of OFW, and overseas travelers who wanted to experience a culture other than the Philippines. To stay on the safe side, it is better to load at least P on the day before departure.

Also, make sure that your phone has a minimum load of P while outside the country to experience a consistent connection with loved ones in the Philippines. The minimum prepaid e-Load amount for Smart is P so maybe Globe offers the same.

Watch How to Activate Globe Roaming when you are about to leave the Philippines or when you are already abroad. Unlike smart roaming which should be activated an hour prior to departure time, this should be done 24 hours at least prior to departure.

You can prevent the no signal issue when you are roaming with your Globe Sim abroad. Tapos ninanakaw pa load ko ayusin nyo nman sirbisyo nyo! Maging patas sana ha!?
