Once you have enough trees, you may get a wolf or two to show up on your lot. Now, just because a Sim may have the "See Wolf" Want and it succeeds doesn't mean you've seen the appropriate wolf. Whether the "See Wolf" Want is broken, we're not sure; it just seems to succeed if a large dog is on the lot regardless if it's an actual wolf or not. The specific wolf you're looking for is one with glowing eyes. In my game, I had a dark brown wolf by the name of Benny; your mileage may vary.
The telltale sign either way is green glowing eyes. Then, do everything you can to befriend it: play with him, feed him, give him love, whatever it takes. Your Sim will freak out and become a werewolf immediately.
From then on, in order to start spreading lycanthropy is a matter of a simple social interaction. Whilst a Sim is in werewolf form, simply select him, then interact with another Sim and select "Savage. Simple as that. If you don't use cheat codes, simply just always make sure you have a controllable werewolf or two around to keep spreading the fangs. If you want to cure a Sim of his condition, you just need to make a call and spend some green. Pick up the phone and call the Obedience Trainer, regardless of whether you have a pet.
When she comes over, you can tell a Sim to interact with her and purchase a potion. Buy it, drink it, and you become normal. If you have Nightlife installed as well, you can call the matchmaker and buy a potion from her as well. I steered my sexy female Sim up to him and tried making conversation. He shot her down quickly, and at one point even hissed at her. It was obvious befriending Vamps would be difficult.
No matter though because she now had him stored in her friends bank, even though the relationship was in the red zone. The next day I simply made my female Sim call him on the phone to invite him over.
I figured that way she could schmooze some more. Stupid me. I went and invited him over during the day time. As soon as he stepped onto my Sims lot, he fled. I watched as his coat jacket began to smoke. It turns out vampires in the game cannot be out in the light.
I waited till it was dark, and directed her to invite him over again. He showed up, and I was able to establish a relationship with him. Suddenly out of nowhere I witnessed him bite my female Sim on the neck. She then turned into a vampire, and the two lived happily ever after. After being bit, I had to buy a coffin bed. Without one to sleep in during the day my vampire Sim would burn up and die in sunlight, so for everyone looking to turn into a vampire, keep that in mind.
Your Sim cannot o out in the light. Once that moodlet expires, a third moodlet is added, called "Appetite Lost". Once this moodlet is added, Sims will be unable to gain other food-related moodlets except Nauseous until the transformation is complete.
When a vampire turns a human Sim, they become a master, and the human turned vampire becomes their vampire offspring. Turning Sims into vampires is only possible if the "Vampire Creation" perk has been purchased. Vampires will have their own panel to gain and upgrade new abilities that make them more powerful.
New powers include mind control, shape-shifting into a bat, faster transportation, increased strength, reduced needs, and more. Vampires all start out with weaknesses, most that can be overcome by purchasing perks in the Vampire Powers menu. Vampires may also concoct a sunlight reversal cocktail with high vampire lore skill, which effectively reverses their weakness to sunlight.
Instead of draining their vampiric energy while out in the sun, this cocktail causes them to gain vampiric energy when exposed to the sun's rays. With The Sims 4: Seasons , vampires can go out during the day without harm if there is cloudy weather, blizzards, or thunderstorms.
Umbrellas may also be carried to protect from the harmful rays of the sun during the day. Additionally, vampires are immune to most side effects of the temperature system, including freezing to death and overheating. There are more weaknesses that must be taken in order to grow as a vampire, such as sloppy drinking, further weakness to sunlight, uncontrollable hissing, inability to eat normal food, guilt from feeding on a Sim without their permission, reduced power gain while sleeping, etc.
Just like aliens from The Sims 4: Get to Work , vampires have a sim form and an alternative form into which they can switch to keep their vampiric nature from being revealed. Vampires will switch into their Dark Form to tune into their true vampiric nature and access some of their supernatural powers, such as feeding and turning other sims.
Sims who have been turned will be assigned a randomly generated Dark Form, which can be edited or removed via any mirror. Dark Form is optional. The player is not penalized for not using it. Both forms have the same customization options, and Vampires have access to the same abilities with or without a Dark Form.
Vampires have different needs from normal Sims. Vampires do not have a bladder meter and their energy need is elongated and replaced with "Vampire Energy".
Hunger is replaced with a "Thirst" need for plasma. The needs panel also displays power points and the experience needed to achieve the next vampire rank. Vampires who don't replenish their thirst will attack random Sims and feed from them if it's low enough. Vampires who have low Vampire Energy while they're out in the sunlight will die of sunlight exposure and burst into flames. Vampires can also replenish their Vampire Energy through the typical sleeping through a bed, sleeping in a coffin, or through dark meditation.
See Vampire powers for more information. Vampires have special interactions which are marked by a bat symbol. Vampires can use their powers on other vampires. Vampires can interact with others like them by showing off their powers, sparring, and vampire training. Sparring enacts a battle between two vampires as a test of strength. Vampires can spar in a friendly manner whereas enemies can fight each other, damaging their relationship further. Vampires can also slay each other if their relationship is low enough.
If the vampire that started the fight has an Ultimate Vampire Cure in their inventory, they will throw it in the losing vampire's face, curing them of their vampirism. If the fight was unsuccessful then The Ultimate Vampire Cure is not used.
When vampires turn Sims, that Sim once turned will become the vampire's offspring, as seen in the relationships panel. Vampire offspring and their master can interact with each other just like any other Sim, but the master's powers will work more efficiently on them. With the "I am the Master" aspiration reward trait from the "Vampire Family" aspiration, vampire masters can make their offspring always comply with their command.
Vampirism can be cured by obtaining a glass of "The Ultimate Vampire Cure", a concoction that can be made at a bar by Sims with maximum Vampire lore skill level Once made, Vampires can voluntarily take it and cure themselves, or other Sims can use the "Slay Vampire" interaction with a cure in their inventory, and once they win the battle, throw the cure into the vampire's face, curing them.
